The most beautiful camping accessories are those that serve several purposes at once - such as the SpaceCamper cab darkening. It not only makes it nice and dark on the bus and ensures a good indoor climate, it also offers practical storage space. Suitable for the VW T7 Multivan, also available in the cheaper Complete set with protection for the windscreen!
The covers are simply put over the front doors. Additional support is provided by a loop that is passed around the exterior mirror. Since the waterproof hoods are located inside and outside the doors, the pane can be opened underneath without any problems. Perfect for an optimal indoor climate: A bar on the outside keeps the ventilation open, while a mosquito net on the inside prevents insects from getting into the car.
On the inside, the blackout shows practical details that the SpaceCampers have come up with: In an inner pocket over the full width of the blackout there is additional storage space for many small items.
Everything tight even in the rain
The fabric is water-repellent. Even between the door and the roof rail, no moisture gets in. When it rains, the water simply rolls off the fabric. After a rainy night, you can usually just wipe off the blackout and pack it up. But if it has rained a lot or after snowfall, the fabric is damp on the outside. Then you can place the wet sides on top of each other and roll them loosely. This keeps the trunk largely dry. And as soon as the sun comes out, you put the pieces apart and they dry super fast:
The fabric is not UV-resistant. Strong sunlight can cause color changes.
Do the covers also fit over doors with wind deflectors?
Yes, the covers are sized so that side doors can also be darkened with wind deflectors.
Attaching the covers
This is how the covers stay securely in place:Open the driver's or passenger's door. Use the respective cover for each side – the SpaceCamper logo should be on the outside in the top corner.
Then put the cover over the door. Pull the cover far down and attach it around the exterior mirror with a rubber band. Ready!
Now the window can be opened and the outer cover of the window can be kept at a distance with the bars fixed by Velcro. Then more fresh air will come into the bus.
Packing Size
The side covers can be folded to about the size of a DIN A4 sheet. The windscreen cover can also be folded up small, due to the insulation layer, the package is only slightly thicker than the side panels.Additional Information
