Flexible width for even more storage space

Another special feature of the BackBox is the possibility of making the box wider by adding more space. It can grow from 154 cm to 172 cm or even 190 cm in width, depending on which side panel you choose. This makes it the ideal transport system for skis and snowboards that are up to 187 cm in length, providing you with a dryer interior and more storage space in your trunk. The volume of the box increases from 300 liters to 312 or 326 liters. The BackBox is sold with the small sidepanels, with which it has a width of 154 cm. Medium and wide panels are sold separately.

Advantages over a roof box

Anyone traveling with several people or a lot of luggage knows the struggle to find more storage space. Often there is also a roof box in the conversation. Compared to the roof box the BackBox has some big advantages:

• Easy loading and unloading. Nothing has to be lifted above your head
• Consistent driving behavior and up to 160 km/h speed allowance
• Good aerodynamics: no wind noise and lower fuel consumption than with a roof box

BackBox and BackCarrier

For mounting, one requires the BackCarrier and a trailer hitch on your vehicle.The BackCarrier is sold separately. It is suitable for a wide variety of vehicles so that you can continue to use the BackBox even if you change vehicles.

Safety for your camping equipment

Your equipment is safe: The BackBox is lockable as well as the connection between BackBox and BackCarrier. Inside the box, load securing is facilitated.

The SMD LED lighting system of the BackBox is powered via the 13-pin plug connection. This allows all lights and indicators to be used. The mft carrier also has an EU operating permit, so no TÃœV approval is required.
