The fabric is water-repellent. No moisture gets in between the door and roof rail either. When it rains, the water simply rolls off the fabric. After a rainy night, you can usually just wipe off the windscreen cover and pack it up. But if it has rained a lot or after snowfall, the fabric is damp on the outside. Then you can place the wet sides on top of each other and roll them loosely. This keeps the trunk largely dry. And as soon as the sun comes out, you put the pieces apart and they dry super fast:
